The latest pub to hold a stand alone beer festival is to be the White Lion of Mortimer, 125 - 127 Stroud Green Rd, N4 3PX. Converted from a car showroom, this Wetherspoon pub is now past its 20th anniversary and for five days (11 Feb to 15 Feb) it is planned to hold a festival featuring beers from Grand Union, Red Squirrel and possibly Tring. On the Tuesday evening, coinciding with a CAMRA visit, there will be a tutored tasting led by brewers from Grand Union and, if available, Red Squirrel.
