The Junction Tavern 7th Beer Festival
|
The Junction Tavern is holding its 7th Beer Festival over the May Day Bank Holiday Weekend, Friday 4th to Monday 7th May. They will be featuring 40 - 50 real ales from independent brewers across the country. Beers are hooked up on a special cooling system in the bar area, with pints poured straight off the barrel. Previous festivals have sold out quickly, so come early, Friday or Saturday, if you want to try the full selection. Booking is advisable for lunch or dinner in the dining room. No children after 7pm. Please see their website www.junctiontavern.co.uk for directions and opening times. Special prices for CAMRA members with valid membership card. Subject to brewers availability, here's a small selection of what could be on. Great selection of session bitters - Cat Nap 3.6% from Barngates in Cumbria; Game, Set & Match 3.8% from Bank Top in Lancashire; Mystery Tor 3.8% from Glastonbury; Gladiator 3.8% from Hadrian & Border in Newcastle. Landlady & Landlord's Choice - personally, Jacky and Chris are looking forward to trying the Peat Porter 4.5% from Moor Beer Company in Somerset and Chris wants to try the Rucking Mole 4.5% from Moles in Wiltshire. |
