Beer Festival at the Flask in Highgate

This summer we are celebrating about 300 years at The Flask. Throughout May we will be showcasing different types of beer leading to a beer festival over the bank holiday weekend.

Next week we will be focusing on white beers, with Franziskaner and Hoegaarden on draught, and Schneider Weisse, Erdinger Weisse and Dunkel Weisse bottled. The following week will be fruit beers, strawberry Fruli on draught, St Peter's cask fruit beer, Liefman's frambozen and kriek, Banana and apple fruli and Timmerman's peche. After this we will be concentrating on cask with a week of great cask ales leading to the weekend with 14 cask ales on throughout the weekend. There will also be three extra beers on our new outside bar, Staropramen Granat, Sleeman's Honey brown, and Paulaner.

We will be producing a booklet for customers on each of the different types of beer and will be having a meet the brewer night with Fruli on fruit beers. We will be having tasting nights for both the Weisse beers and casks.

During the festival there will be glasses available to purchase with the first pint to celebrate our about 300 year festival, proceeds from this will be going to The Whittington hospital. There will also be a BBQ available throughout the weekend and a pie stand outside as well.

All this in conjunction with our usual fresh menu and great quality beers.
