Letters to the Editor
Dear Gary,
The front page headline "Real Ale in a Bottle" (Oct./ Nov. 2004 issue) did not sit happily under the masthead "The Full Pint". Why does nearly every brewer now supply ale in 500 millilitre bottles? This is only 88% of a pint. It is a classic metric rip-off, and CAMRA should not endorse such bottles. If Bass and Charles Wells can supply beer in Imperial pint bottles why can't the others?
What happened to the Full Pint campaign? Answers please?
Yours Peter Scott.
