Birthday Bash Beer Festival

As regular readers of the Full Pint will know the North London branch of CAMRA is celebrating its 30th birthday this year but did you know that one of the area's leading free houses is also having a birthday? The Wenlock Arms in Wenlock Road, N1 has been run by Steve Barnes and Will Williams for ten years this year. This odd little corner pub has been transformed into a Mecca of good real ale over that time and is one of the very few outlets to offer both a real mild and a real cider. To celebrate these joint birthdays, the branch will be running a mini beer festival with the Wenlock on 23rd October, which will also coincide with CAMRA's second cider and perry month. See the next newsletter for more details.
