GBBF Charles Wells Presentation
Members of the North London Branch – from left Christine Cryne, Ian Hasell and John Cryne – raise their glasses at August's Great British Beer Festival at London's Olympia. They are seen congratulating Charles Wells brewery, whose Banana Bread Beer was voted Beer of the Festival at the 2002 London Drinker Beer and Cider Festival, which was held at Camden Centre in March. GBBF was used as an opportunity to present the award. Rumours that several pints were then consumed on the Bombardier bus are fervently denied!
