Pub of the Year 2002

The Duke of Hamilton in New End, Hampstead is the North London Branch Pub of the Year for 2002.

John Cryne presents the award to Mary Wooderson

On a balmy summer’s night on the 25th of June, members of the branch, local drinkers and representatives of Fullers brewery gathered for the presentation at the pub. Branch Committee member and former CAMRA National Chairman John Cryne is seen presenting the award to licensee Mary Wooderson (left) on the terrace of the pub.

Congratulations on the award—the second time the pub has won in recent years. See further article on page 4.
