Fullers Opens New Bottling Plant

Anthony Fuller, Des Lynam and John Roberts

Des Lynam, sports presenter, television personality and local resident, seen officially opening the new £2.1 million bottling and packing line at Fuller's Griffin Brewery, flanked by Chairman Anthony Fuller (left) and Beer and Brands Director, John Roberts. This new project reflects Fuller's continued commitment to its brewing operation and follows a recent £1 million investment on a new cask racking line, which became operational in March 2001. Subsequent to the opening, Fuller's announced a change at the top, with current MD Michael Turner taking over as Executive Chairman from Anthony Fuller, who has led the company for 20 years. Much credit goes to Fuller and his team for enhancing the company's trading position and their real ale portfolio.

Talking of which, the brewery has announced that Organic Honey Dew will be available in cask both during March to May (its usual period) and September through October.
